Glycon Developments is a privately owned construction and development company based in Darwin. Since 2012, we have been delivering reliable building and construction services across the Northern Territory and beyond.

As a small to medium-sized business, we pride ourselves on providing personalised service, practical solutions, and high-quality workmanship on every project. Our team works closely with clients to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, safely, and to the highest standard.

About the Director
Glycon Developments is led by Director John Glynatsis, who has been working in the construction industry since 2000.
After completing his carpentry apprenticeship in 2005, John continued to develop his expertise by earning his Certificate IV in Construction and Building. In 2012, he obtained his Builder’s Licence and established Glycon Developments.
With over two decades of industry experience, John has worked across many cities and remote locations throughout Australia, including Brisbane, Darwin, Townsville, Elcho Island, and numerous rural communities across the Northern Territory.

Before establishing Glycon Developments, John gained extensive hands-on experience across a wide range of construction projects, including:

Project management of commercial buildings, private schools, home renovations, extensions, and office fit-outs

Site set-out, formwork, and concreting

Wall framing, steel posts, beams, purlins, and trusses

Wall and roof cladding, soffit linings, and internal wall and ceiling linings

Installation of doors, skirting, architraves, and mouldings

Construction of stairs, handrails, and deckingInstallation of aluminium windows and door frames

John is passionate about construction and takes pride in delivering exceptional results for every client.
Unlike many company directors, he remains actively involved on-site and often works directly alongside the team, ensuring each project meets the highest standards of quality and workmanship.
